In February 2015, I presented E-Scape at the ‘Accessible Music Technology and Practice Seminar‘ at the Institute of Art, Design & Technology (IADT) Dun Laoghaire in Dublin, Ireland. One of the disabled musicians from Cork who they support is keen to start using it to compose his own material, and then perform it live.
Elin Skogdal from the SKUG Centre in Norway then presented a selection of videos of students performing with E-Scape and Apollo Ensemble.
The seminar was organised by Karl O’Keefe of Enable Ireland, and his ElectroAT website is a mine of fascinating information about assistive music technology used to enable anyone to play music. I look forward to continue working with them.
